La Tocadita Over 40 Champions! |
Last night TOCA40 captured its 5th championship
in 9 seasons by smashing a previously undefeated opponent
in the Maryland Soccerplex Adult 40 plus 2009 spring
season. This new victory firmly established TOCA40
as the premier team in the division.
New faces combined with the founders have energized
the team this season. Ben joined us after playing
many seasons with the 30s team. Edwin has infused
a graceful and energetic style. Christian who has
played on every imaginable team for La Tocadita F.C.
and winning many championships can look forward to
a welcome reception in TOCA40.
Last night we worked cohesively against a good but
frustrated team that simply could not penetrate the
TOCA40 formation. In the end, it was the predictable
result of TOCA40 holding the championship yet again.
Superb! Great work! The heroes last night: Zack,
Scott, Edwin, Willy, Oscar, Christian, George and
Gino. I think this was one of our best performances
ever; we will talk about of the many instances of
last night’s game in our get together soon to
be announced.
We can not forget to name Mike and Roger who last
week joined us securing a win against Blue Army allowing
us to go to the finals |
