Match Notes

What a crazy game -- it seems incredible that we lost. Without a doubt the difference, as stated previously, was in the defense. I wanted to emphasize that good teams never collapse defensively and yesterday we did. We began controlling the game very well, and our goal came on an error by them between
the goalkeeper and the defender. They got a goal when there was a mistake on the right side and the forward was alone on goal. Later another bad play by our defense let the forward go in
again; incredible, 2 players score 2 goals against a bad defense. In the last 2 games we gave up 1 goal, yesterday they scored 4 which is a big difference. In the second half, thanks to an excellent play of David in the middle we got the ball to a midfielder and tied the score, but we did not defend well. Our team pushed forward from the back and as was expected they scored 2 goals. Scott stopped a penalty, and there was nothing he could do on the 2 one v one goals against very good players, and the final goal was a missed-hit center which left him unable to stop the ball. I believe that the desires and players are coming together, and the future of the team will be fine if we continue playing together. In defense I believe that someone needs to take command; it is up to Sebastian and Toby for now to organize the defense. The midfield seems to be well covered, since we all know we can pass and defend without problems. Up top it seems that Charly will be the scorer with his magical goals and Jose came forward but sadly we missed the nice pass or else he would have had 2 goals; and there was a great header that almost put him in the scorers table.
MVP: obviously Charly with 2 goals promises to be the scorer for the team.
HM: Alex, he should receive mention because he organized the team well.
LVP: The defense, with 4 goals by mistakes gets that prize.
Tuesday I believe that we will get our second triumph since the team has made some adjustments in our favor.
