Match Notes

Due to the fact that there is no game today I am going to take this opportunity to talk about 'virtual football'. Here are some comments with respect to last week's game. It seems that the team had high desires, we played against a consolidated team in the adult league, very organized and with many players, in the first half we were a bit timid because of the characteristics of their team and their achievements, but we did not lack anything and we played them equal for the first 20-30 minutes. A goal came when our defense went out into the offside and did not coordinate well and they scored the first one, later an individual move came and a great kick in the angle below Scott -- untouchable; a great goal. That is the way it went in the first half, with lots of touches, but with little depth. Regrettably the injury of Carlitos Gamboa. In the second half we went out and played with life and then came Pancho's goal (without a doubt his physical state is obvious -- handling the ball like a player who has had many minutes on the field). The tie appeared to be coming, regrettably a majority of our legs gave out and with their constant player rotation they stuck 3 goals on us in the last 15 minutes as the game ended. In general the team seems that it is coming together, I believe that we will get there especially for those of us whose only contact with football is in front of the TV. In the defense we have Sebastian at the point, Javier lacks legs and became winded so I believe that another player can substitute for him in the second half. In the first half David runs and runs, Dani and Paulo had nice touches, Oscar when he connects it is obviously good, and at forward Jose promises to be very very good. In the end it seems that the goals of Jose are going to come more rapidly than for Bati since injuries continue to leave him on the sideline next to the scorers table.
