come and join us at our new speed/endurance program
especially designed for U13 team.
Players
will have a chance to train under the instruction
of Thearin Wendel.
The program consists of one training session per
week where players participate in team oriented
drills as well as individual excersises to improve
on speed, agility and conditioning.
Distance
(6-8 laps; and for a variation around park instead
of field) (15 Min including water)
Stretch (focusing on hamstrings
and calves again to increase quickness) (5 min)
Muscle building ("core"
exercises, agility variations of jumping jacks,
and pushups) (5 min)
Speed in turning - Lots of ladder
drills, plus dribble obstacles (15 Min)
Sprints -
(hill or suicides for variation) (5 min plus water)
Final Game - e.g., Knockout,
juggle, scrimmage, timed sprints and turning with
ball (old British game) (10 min)
