Guys,
I have been able to piece together the remaining
schedule getting every game a place to play. So
the fall schedule is final except as noted below
regarding Saturday Opal. Please note that we did
not get the permit for Fairlands on Thursdays as
originally informed but have Fairlands on Fridays.
MD 30+ and some Sunday First and Saaphire games
are impacted. There is no possibility of getting
Fairlands for any night other than Friday so I am
sorry but you are stuck with Friday night games.
I am still waiting to hear from British Tigers as
to whether or not they have obtained a field so
they can be added to Saturday Opal schedule. If
Tigers do find another pitch, it will mean a rather
large alteration to the Sat Opal schedule.
VERY
IMPORTANT: BE ADVISED --
THERE
IS ABSOLUTELY NO FLUX IN THE SCHEDULE. IF RAINOUTS
OCCUR, ALL GAMES INITIALLY SCHEDULED WILL NOT BE
ABLE TO BE MADE UP. SUCH WILL PRODUCE AN INEQUALITY
IN THE # OF GAMES PLAYED BY TEAMS IN THE SAME DIVISIONS.
I WILL TRY TO MAKE SURE EVERY TEAM IN EVERY DIVISION
IN CONTENTION FOR PROMOTION/RELEGATION/PLAYOFFS
GETS THEIR CRITICAL GAMES IN. IF HOWEVER THAT BECOMES
AN IMPOSSIBILITY, THE PERCENTAGE OF POINTS EARNED
RATHER THAN TOTAL POINTS WILL BECOME THE DETERMINANT
FACTOR IN PROMOTION/RELEGATION & PLAYOFFS. GAMES
THAT ARE NOT CRITICAL TO PROMOTION/RELEGATION/PLAYOFFS
THAT GET RAINED OUT, AT THE END OF THE FALL SEASON
WILL BE SCORED 0-0 TIE.
If
you find any obvious error on my part in the schedule,
please advise ASAP. Again an error is not that you
do no like the schedule you have.
